Akkareyakkareyakkare, also known Akkare Akkare Akkare (transl. Over there, Over there, Over there) is a 1990 Indian Malayalam-language buddy cop comedy film directed by Priyadarshan and written by Sreenivasan. It stars Mohanlal, Sreenivasan, M. G. Soman, Mukesh, Maniyanpilla Raju, Parvathy and Nedumudi Venu in major roles. It is a sequel to 1987's Nadodikkattu and 1988's Pattanapravesham; Mohanlal and Sreenivasan reprises their roles. However, Thilakan, Mamukkoya and Innocent, who have appeared in the previous films, do not appear in this film. Also, a new cast of Nedumudi Venu, Sukumari, Parvathy Jayaram, Jagadish, Mukesh and Maniyanpilla Raju appears. M. G. Soman plays a character role, having appeared as himself in Nadodikkattu. Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njaanum (transl. Vasanthi, Lakshmi, and me) is a 1999 Indian Malayalam-language musical romantic tragedy film directed by Vinayan, written by Johnson Esthappan and J. Pallassery who also wrote the dialogues, based on a story by Vinayan. The film features Kalabhavan Mani, Kaveri, Praveena and Sai Kumar.Kabeer, Latheef and Vindhyan produced the film under Thriveni Productions and Kabeer and it was also distributed by Sargam Speed Release. The film centers around Ramu, a blind poet and singer whose singing supports his family. His family's happiness dissipates after he gets cheated by a rich businessman-turned-politician. The film is reported to be inspired from Dosti (1964).

Ramu is a blind poet and talented singer who supports his family with his songs. He has a drunkard older brother Chandru; an abusive, crippled father Bhargavan; and a younger sister Vasanthi. When the local landlord, Thomas Chacko, returns to the district, he brings along Dinesh, the CM's son, and his wife, Radhika. Thomas is known as a god in the area for his charitable work. When a specialist eye doctor arrives, he promises to pay the operation fees to restore Ramu's vision. Elated by the news, Ramu learns he must find an eye donor. His lover Lakshmi, who cannot speak, offers one of her eyes. Unfortunately, it turns out that the "god-like" Thomas is not what he seems. Blissfully unaware of the sadness of those around him, Ramu looks forward to his surgery. On the day of her wedding, Vasanthi is found dead. It is revealed that she committed suicide because of Thomas. When Thomas comes to attend the funeral, Ramu explains to Thomas what the latter did while choking him to death. by @144p_2.0

Arabikkatha (lit. 'Arabian tale') is a 2007 Indian Malayalam-language satirical-drama film directed by Lal Jose and written by Ikbal Kuttipuram. The film was a critica and commercial success in India and the United Arab Emirates. It deals with differences within the Communist movement,and was produced against a background of real-life splits in the ruling Communist Party in Kerala state, India.In the film, Mukundan, a hardcore communist, exposes the atrocities of Karunan, a cunning and corrupt politician.

The film narrates the story of "Cuba" Mukundan. He is a staunch leftist who lives for the movement. Machinations of a corrupt politician, Karunan, who perceives Mukundan as a threat to his political career force Mukundan to take up a job in Dubai. Even in Dubai, he finds that Kunjunni Muthalali who was in league with Karunan, is exploiting the helpless labourers who migrate to the Persian Gulf region, performing menial jobs and physical labor in order to support their families back home. He has always had a soft corner for People's Republic of China as a result of his leftist leanings. When he meets Zhang Chu Min, a Chinese girl, she quickly finds a special place in his heart as she symbolizes China to him. Later, even after realising that she is an anti-communist and is there to make money for the treatment of her boyfriend who fought against the Chinese Government, he gives her his earnings saying a communist never keeps money more than his requirements. Along with the help of his friends Anwar, Maya, Karim and Abbas, Mukundan exposes the machinations of Karunan and Kunjunni Muthalali. Finally, Mukundan returns home to work for the political cause which has been his life and love. The movie depicts Mukundan who lives in rural Kerala being catapulted into Dubai, the gleaming world of commerce and industry that gives employment opportunity to workers from Kerala. Mukundan who finds himself in present society where sticking to any ideology without any compromises is perceived as something of an by @144p_2.0
