As we are still feeling the great Sunday vibes from our Lebanese cookout, we are now getting ready for the next event on September 20th, 4-10PM.

This time we are welcoming our good friend and one of the Laziza original DJs HunnyBunny. As family is always a must, he went on to invite his friends Lavender to host and Extra Meesh to join him on the decks.

Raised in Akron, Ohio and now a 13-year resident of Brooklyn, @hunnybunnynyc has been involved with music his whole life. From playing piano during his upbringing, to singing in choir, and now selecting music since 2019. He hosts a monthly 1st Thursday party at Ciao Ciao Disco titled, ‘Ready or Not,’ throws parties with Soul Summit every few months, and has played across the city at places like Nightmoves, Knockdown Center, Eavesdrop, and Milly’s. Whether he’s warming the room up or grooving out, he’s often moving through RnB, House, Gospel, and Disco. Always remaining curious and spontaneous.

DJ, designer, and the creative force behind Studio Liguanea, Extra Meesh ( @bvdhai ) brings the same sharp eye and deep curiosity to his record collection. He hosts a long-running all-vinyl residency at Lullaby and has played across the city at Good Room, Public Records, Le Bain, Nightmoves and The Lot Radio. His sets are playful and wide-ranging, moving through house, disco, Italo, Balearic, and unexpected left turns.

Looking forward to filling our yard with their favorite tracks. See you then!

"nature and the temple of dance"

i like acrylic because it dries fast enough to build layers in a shorter amount of time. time has started to take on a new sense of value for me these days. it seems that dance and nature have the deepest relationship with time that i'm eager to keep exploring. by @1555hotline

Similar but not the same

I’ve felt so much loss this year. All around me, in me, from me. I feel like I’ve lived a dream where everything i thought i loved, I’ve almost lost (even just the absurdity to which my delusioned self believed love was even present) and all that I’ve profoundly lost, i didn’t think to love (and pour that kind of intimate truth). “Imminent moon”

I made this using dirt, gesso and acrylic paint on burlap fabric. It was inspired by the dance of time, it was a sunny beautiful day and still the moon was visible. This was my first time in the Valley of Fire and I fell so deeply in love with the landscape here. #contemporaryart by @1555hotline
