Dear Lord,
June and July have broken me in ways I never imagined.
These months have carried so much pain, so many silent tears, and battles I could not explain.
But through it all, I still look up to You.Lord, I don’t understand everything I’m going through, but I pray that none of this pain will be in vain.
Let every heartbreak, every disappointment, and every lonely night produce something beautiful in me.
Please, don’t let my suffering turn my heart cold.
Don’t let pain make me bitter, angry, or full of hatred.Heal me, Lord.
Hold me together in the places where I am falling apart.
Take away anything and anyone that will bring pain, sorrow, destruction, or darkness into my life.
Protect my heart from heaviness, and fill me instead with peace, strength, and Your presence.Even when I am weak, remind me that You are still God.
Even when I cry, remind me that You are still with me.
And even when this season hurts, help me trust that You are working all things for my good.
Dear Lord, let this pain change me, but never harden me. Amen. 😢 by @16_glo_ry
