Gorillaz was the soundtrack to my teenage imagination //

I would listen to their first album in my bedroom with the lights off, *desperately* imagining what a live show would be like. (I was 14).

Damon Albarn is one of the most talented (& underrated) musicians of our time. His catalog, collaborations, and artistry is mind bending. He brings humanity together through music as a celebration of dance, rock, punk, rap, and everything else in between.

Gorillaz is a category all in their own. It has been a privilege and gift growing up with them.

14 year old (& 40 year old) Colette moved to tears.

QUICK ODE TO (MID) JULY //

July has become my favorite month in the last few years.

Those puffy "July clouds", the heat bugs, the wildflowers

Raspberry picking & tart baking // we left at 7am to be the only ones in the bushes, and these raspberries, this morning I will daydream of forever on a loop.

The first go at Alison Roman's raspberries & sour cream. (Really, that simple, and really incredibly next level). What temptations and sins are both made of.

Venus blazing through the late summer sunsets, for Cancer moons and major (*major*) arcana cards before eclipse season. ✨️

My latest addition and newest prized possession//

It just arrived on my doorstep straight from Denmark, I've been tracking this vinyl for a few years now.

It was 2008 in my basement apartment in Allston, MA and my Swedish/Danish friend played this song for me since I was preparing to move to Sweden and had been taking Swedish classes at the Boston Language Institute (as one does).

It's the first song I learned in Swedish, I am obsessed with the lyrics and it's one of my most favorite and most played songs ✨️
