The Homo Faber show ends tomorrow, so today is your last day to discover Iris, our Stoneware Moon Jar created with Es Devlin for ‘A Full Moon Rising’.⁠ ⁠ Iris, initially started as a hand thrown Moon Jar, is further sculpted by our master decorator Helen, who carves out the main aperture and forms the crescents by hand, smoothing in the raw clay with her hands and tools to create the final look. The Homo Faber installation, also curated by Es Devlin, features 42 variations on the Korean moon jar, a centuries-old functional vessel with an iconic moon-like silhouette that was used to transport and store water. To tie it all together, the incredible installation is set atop a pool, shimmering against the moon like structure and creating a dialogue between light and water. Don’t miss your chance to see our stunning Iris Vase, created with Es Devlin for Homo Faber’s 2026 showcase. ⁠ ⁠ Set within Fondazione Giorgio Cini’s former 1960’s swimming pool, ‘A Full Moon Rising’ highlights the beautiful simplicity of vessels used to transport and store water, such as the Korean moon jar (a centuries-old functional vessel with an iconic moon-like silhouette). ⁠ ⁠ The structure displays a selection of moon jars and similar vases in watery colours, handcrafted in a myriad of natural materials by craft artists from around the world including our 1882 Ltd. x Es Devlin Iris Vase. We are so thrilled to be a part of Homo Faber’s 2026 show with Es Devlin celebrating craft. The show, ‘An Island of Light’ includes our stunning Iris vases, created in collaboration with Es Devlin , as part of the instalment ‘A Full Moon Rising’.⁠ ⁠ The Iris vases are created by several master potters. Initially starting as a hand thrown moon vase, our master decorator Helen then carves out the main aperture and forms the crescents by hand, smoothing in the raw clay with her hands and tools to create the final look. Dunes is a fine tableware collection featuring skillfully hand-crafted plates and bowls. Slip-cast from plaster models, the collection maximises Malouin’s beautifully minimalistic patterns through analogue 3D printing.⁠ ⁠ The analogue 3D printer made by Malouin, creates shapes that cannot be designed by hand or computer. Only movement, imperfection and randomised material deposition form the pieces.
