a lovely way to spend a summer evening is wandering around my friend brenna’s flower farm with a bucket and a pair of clippers.

brenna grows the flowers, invites you out to pick your favorites, and then puts her former-florist skills to work teaching you how to turn them into a bouquet. all on their beautiful century farm, with chickens wandering around like they’re also registered for class.

if you’re local, you should go. 🌼 (i was lucky enough to tag along during one of her private events.)

Saving zinnia seeds for next year 🌸

Let a few blooms go to seed on the plant, then collect the seeds and store them somewhere cool and dry.

More zinnias next summer! 🌱

The farm stand is open! 🌸🎃🍅🥚

We’ve got fresh flowers, pumpkins, tomatoes, eggs + a few other goodies waiting for you!

The season is starting to change, and unfortunately that means our flower stand won’t be open much longer. 🌸 So stop by while you still can and grab some blooms before the temperatures get too cold!

Come enjoy a little bit of the farm before the season wraps up. 🤎

Reminiscing on all the yoga classes we held here at the farm this summer 🤍✨

There was something so magical about slowing down, moving, and taking it all in surrounded by the flowers. We had a dream of bringing yoga to the farm, and YOU all made it so much more special than we could have imagined.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made these moments so memorable. 🌸

- Brenna (the flower farmer) & Rhea (the yogi)

And… keep your eyes out 👀 We may have a little yoga pop-up coming this fall! 🍂🧘‍♀️ by @1908flowerfarm
