I’m always standoffish and stingy with my energy after working a hectic club door for 2 years. A defense mechanism of sorts to prevent people from getting too comfortable, i don’t take kindly to flattery , i see it as someone wanting something from me.You played at Berlin months ago, you were a great person to have conversations with and you came back again and again, like an old friend , an angel. all i can describe you as now is an angel, you kept coming back to see bands play, and realizing how friendly, an how much of a kindred spirit you were i opened up and I’m glad i did. I will never get on a motorcycle again, but i am so grateful that you showed me something different. I had post-jersey blues after our hangouts and i took PTO off for next Saturday to go camping. I seriously cannot believe this. You were one of the rare people who was genuinely interested in getting to know me and be my friend. And so far you were a damn good one. You did leave me with another thing though, i will develop your film roll you told me to finish but i can’t because the camera won’t turn on :,) Now my post-Jersey blues just got bluer, and i will never stop thinking of you. Your film will be developed my friend , your memory will always be with me. I don’t know what else to say. You were an angel that kept appearing and i am so grateful to have gotten to know you. And grateful you saw me too. I wouldn’t have known about Tracy Chapman’s song Fast Car if it wasn’t for you!!! by @1999imps
