Here are a few ways I balance being a dancer on tour, full time job, being a wife, a friend and taking care of myself. I’ve been this way since I was a child, minus being a wife 😭😭.

*Always review my work and dance schedule for the month so that things don’t fall through the cracks.
*Schedule days off way in advance. Keep those PTO and vacation days racked up 😭.
*Get ahead of work when I can, nothing worse than leaving for vacation and returning to a ton of things.
*Take care of my health. This is the hardest one. I do acupuncture regularly, try my hardest to workout 3 days a week ( Just got into this groove more regularly).
* If something feels off, scheduling a doctors visit.
* Rest, literally doing nothing but laying in bed.
*Weekly devotion with my husband. This allows us to connect deeper in our marriage and with God.
*Date regularly
*Church regularly, when i’m in town, i’m in the sanctuary on Sunday. Great start to my week.
*Schedule friend dates. Yes we are at that stage in life where we have to put it on the calendar.
*Regular face time calls with the bestie
*Eating healthier foods that fuel me with energy.
*Taking vitamins and herb supplement’s.
*Working on gut health (still a work in progress)
* If it’s something stressing me out cry about it for the day and move on!
*Monthly therapy
