“Lay you flat like a piano,if you let me stroke you keys”

Even though I wish my free style was better and my minor choreo mistakes I’m very please of this take. Not dancing for months to hop into an advance partner class was a great push. Thank you for the class you two, it was amazing can’t wait to see round 2!

Shout out to my dance partner you are amazing! @drk.chen

Boy these are overly due. I just want to thank everyone that wished me a birthday and celebrated my born day with me. I want to thank God because if it wasn’t for him nothing I do would be possible.
I told myself this year is about healing ,growth, accountability and health. So far so great and I’m excited to see what what my Jordan year brings me

SURPRISE The cats out of the bag, first thank you @okayy.macy for providing the space, the class was amazing definitely what I needed. Second, thank you body you literally are growing a human and giving me the ability to still be able to dance. The dancer side of me is finding all things I want to fix about myself in this dance. Small and big things. But then I remember that I haven’t danced in months and I’m literally pregnant give myself some damn grace lol. As I navigate though this next chapter of life I’m thankful for my village. I’ve isolated myself long enough, now I’m ready to be out and reconnect with all my communities. Gender reveal invites will be sent out soon. Please message me if you want one because I won’t remember everyone. #lanijahthedancer #viral #black #pregnant #fypage by @1_lww

Never take the people you love for granted.

Today is one of the hardest days of the year for me because someone I loved deeply is no longer here with us, only in spirit. I’ll always cherish the memories we shared. I don’t have a relationship with my biological dad, and he stepped in without hesitation. He was there through my bratty moments, my tears, and the times I needed honest advice—even when I didn’t want to hear it. He was there for my first apartment. My first car, helping me get into college, helping me start my adulthood. He never sugarcoated anything, and I respected him so much for that.

Thank you for being you. I miss you every day. Today I’ll grab a Starbucks, sit and enjoy the view—your favorite spot—and instead of shutting myself away, I’ll surround myself with love. I know that’s what you would’ve wanted. ❤️
