Started this leg of our European travels getting set up again in our van then off to the Monastery of Montserrat in Barcelona before spending a few days up in Andorra - warm days, nice cool alpine nights and lots of shopping and hiking. Heading to Spain’s Costa Brava next ! by @1endlessroad

Wonderful to be back in Kelowna over the summer - had a great time with friends and family ( though our new grandson was the big highlight !! ). Also caught up with some local overlanders - 2 that are already “on the road” and two more couples that are setting out soon to explore the world. It’s getting contagious…🤣. by @1endlessroad

Welcome to the world, Bowen Davidson Van Vliet ! Our gorgeous grandson was born June 5th weighing 8lb 2 oz ( 3.7kg ). Both mum and baby are doing well while dad, Barrett, big sister, Hadley and both grandparents are over the moon ! We feel very blessed 🥳🎉!!! by @1endlessroad

A short stopover in Barcelona where we took in some sights, stored our van for the summer, and then flew home to Canada. Sad to leave Europe and our home on wheels there, but wonderful to be back home with family - and waiting for grand baby # 2 ! Planning to return in September. by @1endlessroad

Who would’ve thought our paths would cross again! Meet Jeff and Louise @1endlessroad the very first Overlanders we met back in 2024 when we first started our trip in Japan!

We camped up together in a carpark next to an old abandoned Soviet Style train station, gathered up a cute cheese platter, drinking a fair amount of wine and beer catching up on our travels and what we’ve learnt while locals were doing burn outs in the background 😂

Finally after hours of listening to people tooting their horns and the screech’s of tyres plus the smell of burnt rubber they left! It was so awesome to of seen them again and another night full of endless chatter and stories too tell!

Our last week in Sicily, all spent in the west before taking a 12 hour ferry from Palermo to Cagliari, Sardinia. We’ll miss Sicily but are looking forward to Sardinia ! by @1endlessroad
