It’s hard to adequately capture the light and happiness that Kellie brought to the world. A world that she was taken from, far too soon. Our sweet, sweet Kellie was killed by a drunk driver last week while riding her bike in Ventura. Her boyfriend, Colby, had his life tragically taken, too.

I met Kellie on the start line of a Thrilla race in Bend in 2022. What began as a brief hello, quickly turned into one of my most cherished friendships. She brought so much joy to my life. We were always planning for when we’d get to spend time together next.

Despite having never lived in the same town, we still managed to pack in so much time together. Many of my memories with Kellie involve bikes in some capacity. Her love for all things adventure was so contagious. It’s an understatement to say that Kellie lived her life to the fullest. A life full of adventure, glitter, and love.

Rest in peace, Kellie 💖 Love you, mean it. by @1hthomas

Welp, I blinked and somehow it has already been five years since my dad and I hopped in my car and moved me across the country to Portland. So much has changed and at the same time, nothing has changed at all. Thankful for those who have made the last five years in the PNW unforgettable 🫶 taken in Pacific Northwest by @1hthomas

This #NursesWeek, we’re celebrating our teammate, our friend, and one of the kindest, strongest people we know — Hannah. 💙
@1hthomas doesn’t just care for others as an incredible nurse — she shows up with that same heart, strength, and determination on the bike. At her first UCI race — Tour de Bloom — she absolutely kicked ass and helped push our teammate to 3rd in the GC. 🚴‍♀️🔥
Through every hard effort, every pull, every cheer from the sidelines, Hannah led with grit and grace. She’s the kind of teammate who lifts everyone up — and somehow always manages to make you laugh while doing it.
We’re so lucky to ride alongside her. Thank you for the love and care you give to the world, Hannah — in scrubs, in kit, and always from the heart. 💐✨
