Here’s a first for me… doing a little photo dump and recapping my 2024! Managed to see my girls, even with the time crunch, took a few trips, made some new friends, and got to watch a childhood friend get married (still crying over him including me in his wedding speech). Also squeezed in a street festival or two. Wrapping up my soft woman era… might be channeling my inner villain in 2025. Stay tuned. 🔮 #2024Recap #SoftWomanEra #itsbeenreal taken in Anywhere & Everywhere by @1iopen

👀 WAS PAYMENT SENT OR DID THE MANAGER TAKE IT?

Comedian Donnell Rawlings recently spoke publicly about allegedly not being paid for a Toronto performance at @backroomcomedyclub.

But there’s another side circulating: claims that payment was made to a manager or representative, but allegedly never made its way to the talent.

So what actually happened?

Right now, we don’t know, and those claims have not been independently verified. But whether the venue never paid, payment went to an intermediary, or there’s more to the story, this situation highlights a much bigger issue in entertainment.

Who was responsible for payment? Who received it? When was it sent? And where is the record?

This is exactly why B-Agent is building a better way to book talent with clear contracts, secure payments and a transparent transaction record protecting both talent and organizers.

Because when one side says “I paid” and the other says “I wasn’t paid,” there should be a paper trail that answers the question.

And to @backroomcomedyclub, give us a shout. We’d love to work with you to help make sure a situation like this never happens again.

And to @donnellrawlings, from this side of the border, our apologies from Canada. 🇨🇦 Talent should be able to come here, perform, and leave knowing the business was handled properly.

Two sides of every booking. One platform. ⚡️

Talent needs more than exposure. Organizers need more than a list of names.

B-Agent AI is being built to bring both sides together.

For talent, that means a professional space to showcase who you are, get discovered, connect with organizers and turn opportunities into bookings.

For organizers, it means discovering the right talent, comparing profiles, reviewing rates and connecting without the guesswork.

One platform. A better booking experience.

We’re currently opening access to our private beta.

February 27th is a date I will never forget.
My diabetes anniversary.

9 years ago, my mom took one look at me and knew something was wrong. She checked my blood sugar and it read HI. She begged me to go to the hospital that night.

I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and my life changed instantly.
That year my weight dropped from 135 to 115 to 85 lbs. My body was shutting down.

A year later, depression hit hard and I stopped managing my diabetes. My blood sugar got dangerously high and it took me out. I was found two days later in my bathroom and I ended up in a coma. When I woke up, I was told I would need a kidney transplant.

I’m sharing this for health awareness. Please listen to your body and don’t struggle in silence.

9 years later, I’m still here.

What is a birthday if you’re not blowing out candles?

Here’s a little trip down memory lane. Every year before COVID, I went all out for my birthday. Big bashes, nights out, clubs, house parties, birthday dresses, nails done, you name it, I did it.

But this year, my only goal is to focus on my business and watch it grow.

So to my close friends who asked where I want to go or what I want to do, I’m asking for something different. Support my business. That’s the only gift I want.

If you know an event organizer, a comedian, a DJ, or anyone working in the entertainment or content creation space, please share what I’m building with them. What my team and I are building is meant for them. My only plan this year is to pour into my platform and give it the visibility it deserves.

Thanks for the love always. Here’s to growth, purpose, and meaningful impact.
