1. Be gentle to her – “Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor, because she is a weaker vessel.”

Today’s verse is from Psalm 46:10. I know a lot of us struggle with being patient and waiting on the Lord, but when you say “Lord, I really want to control this, I really want to make this go my way right now and my way alone, but, I’m going to put this in your hands and surrender this, Lord I choose you, let your will be done, not my own” 🙏🏿 when we choose God, and let JESUS take control we can completely change the situation. Keep waiting on the Lord! Keep believing! But you don’t have to be patient ALL ALONE by yourself. Talk to him. Tell him everything just you would your best friend. Sometimes waiting alone is what makes it harder! Talk to the Lord today. 🙏🏿

Think about a time when something someone said or did, or maybe even a stranger’s smile or kindness changed the course of your day, or even the course of your life. Is it wrong to think that maybe are lives aren’t that insignificant after all? Well what does God’s Word say about us?

Scripture tells us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, created in God’s image, and made with purpose.

Every act of love, every word of encouragement, and every choice to reflect Christ has the potential to impact someone in ways we may never fully see. God doesn’t measure significance the way the world does. He sees value in every person and every act of faithful obedience.

Matthew 5:13-16

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Hey, men have feelings too, but we’re not going to sit down in them and we’re not going to let them rule us either. It’s important for us to pay attention to the simple wins. We don’t need motivation to keep us going, this plan never works out.

What we need is consistency. Routine. Practing and reinforcing good habits every day. We need purpose. We are spiritual beings, not just flesh that we should obey every desire but we submit to Jesus because he is Truth. Lord help us. Guide our footsteps, establish your plans for our us so we can follow your will before our own.

Submission means “your Will be done Lord, over mine.” Submission means “your Word and your Wisdom over my thoughts.” Submission looks like trusting in HIS PLAN over your own. Submission looks like surrender EVERYTHING to him, not just SOME. It’s better to follow the Lord and have Eternal Life, than to follow the crowd and share the same fate. Help people. Spread the good news. Life your life as a reflection of Him. Be a mirror, be a leader, be a king, and the greatest pleasure of all, be a servant.
