Somewhere in Puglia, the harvest has begun. 🫒🌿

My two olive trees, Benedetta and Matteo, are entering their first harvest season with me. Come follow along as their journey from grove to table begins.

Step inside. Exotic palms, warm bread, beautiful Persian flavors, and jazz drifting through the room.

A table made for sharing. An evening to linger over.

Come sit with me.

Masseria San Michele, Puglia 🇮🇹🌿
Meet my newly adopted olive trees, Matteo and Benedetta. ❤️
Benedetta, meaning “blessed,” and Matteo, named after my great-grandfather on my mother’s side.
I’m so excited to follow their journey through the seasons - and I can’t wait to taste the olive oil from my very own trees! 🫒🇮🇹 by @1laramar

I thought I was spending the day at the beach.

I had no idea there was an entire world waiting above it. 🌊🌿

Thermal waters, waterfalls, hidden paths, lush gardens, volcanic stone — and a little warm-water cave I never expected to find.

Negombo was full of surprises.

Come wander through it with me.

She told me about it once, many years ago.
I never forgot.
