The Cobra Men have added another injection of explosive quickness to their backcourt, signing Malik McKinney for the 2026 @nbl1 season 🐍

McKinney - a former NCAA D2 standout at West Liberty - joins the Cobras following a pair of dominant seasons in the Big-V Championship division, where he ranked amongst the league leaders in scoring, assists and steals.

Pairing with point guard Adi Tomada, and elite scorer, Jamie Ahale, the Cobras backcourt is shaping up to be an explosive and highly entertain unit for season 2026.

MALIK MCKINNEY IS NBL1’S ULTIMATE HYPER-EFFICIENT THREAT! ⭐️
Malik McKinney is ABSOLUTELY PRODUCING every time he steps on the floor, delivering a super-efficient 11.5 PPG, 2.5 APG, 2.5 RPG, and 1.0 SPG! He makes an instant impact and tears through defenses every single night! 🪄👁️
But he’s not just scoring; he is an ULTRA-EFFICIENT THREAT! 🎒 Shooting a BLISTERING 58% FG (61% from two) and 36% from deep, he gets maximum production in minimal time! In a monster outing against the Nunawading Spectres, he dropped 22 PTS, 5 AST, 4 REB, 3 STL, and 2 BLK on a RIDICULOUS 71% FG in just 24 minutes! He also torched the Casey Cavaliers with a season-high 24 PTS and 6 REB in only 21 minutes! 🔒🔥 by @1leekkk

Teaching Leek a little bit of Aussie slang.

Today’s lesson: Fair Dinkum

What phrase should we teach him next?

Another day at work.

Leek continues to make an impact on both ends of the floor, showing exactly why consistency matters.

Built by the work you do when nobody’s watching.

Things that confuse imports in Australia

Leek’s first one might divide the country

Do you actually need the handbrake on flat ground or is it overkill

Settle this for us
