Al-Quran, says “vie with one another in good works”.

Maybe this year we can challenge each other to outdo someone else in good deeds and acts of kindness; constantly trying to do more good than others and motivate each other to reach higher levels of piety.

Thank you @engagehumanityla for allowing me to support your mission. See you next month, same time - same place.

It’s been a productive year to say the least. I know a city (Tulum, Mexico), some events and some earnings slipped through the cracks.

Overall, thank you LA and thank you to all of my friends and partners that trusted me in 2022 to help bring their visions to life. Here’s to ‘23 🥂 @genuinepeopleco #spotifywrapped by @1looh

Sometimes the work is in front of the camera. Sometimes it’s everything that happens leading up to the shoot.

This summer, @genuinepeopleco supported video production for @8secondsrodeo. From scouting the location, casting talent and even serving as on screen talent.

Different roles. Same responsibility. Going above and beyond to help bring a vision to life.

Thank you @directordevinhampton for the tap on the shoulder and thank you @steadyflickinup for capturing these behind the scenes moments by @1looh

Last week we wrapped the first “Iconic Visions” with a special project celebrating Girlfriends 25th Anniversary; an exhibition hosted by @thelinehotel and powered by @dcdg.co featuring special guest curators @therealgolden47 @misspersiawhite and @lorenlorosa.

I am immensely grateful to help bring this show to life while amplifying voices in the contemporary art space.

The exhibit featured works from (30) black women, mirroring themes of Girlfriends. Highlighting sisterhood, relationships and the diverse experiences of Black women.

Special thanks to the incredible artists that contributed their work to this exhibit.

Earlier this week we opened BET Weekend at Soho House by honoring and celebrating @rance1500 for his work, efforts and accomplishments with @1500ornothin and @1500soundacademy. The conversation between you and your sister @alexandria1500ornothin was more than rich.

Thank you @sohohouse for always welcoming @genuinepeopleco with open arms and thank you @thenrtv for trusting me to realize your vision.

Huge shoutout to @gibsonguitar for their work with “Gibson Gives” and thank you for your gifting of an acoustic guitar that will now live at @1500soundacademy and its Jam Room ( custom painted by @dominiquelabaki )
