This season in my life I had to question what my purpose was , not knowing what he had planned for me. But God will always show you better than he can tell you, the best way to see your gifts is by what you produce. And in this season God blessed me with an athlete whose work spoke louder than her words while also trusting the process. Laila Hendrix is what you call a dawg who finds work rather than runs away from it. Her senior season spoke volumes to what is to come. Having the best season she’s had, medaling at state and in the lords will continuing a track career on the next level. You are truly #1of1🥇 by @1of1athletix

To the Minor High School Family,

As I take the next step in my journey, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for everything this school has meant to me. Minor High School has not just been a workplace—it’s been a home, a community, and a source of countless memories and life-changing opportunities.

To the entire faculty, staff, students, and families: thank you. Thank you for embracing me, supporting me, and allowing me to grow—not only as a coach but as a person.

To Minor Football and Track: you’ve shaped me in ways I can never fully express. The wins, the losses, the early mornings, the long nights, the laughs, the tears, and every lesson in between—each of those moments molded me into the coach and man I am today. I carry those memories with pride, and I’ll forever be grateful for the athletes and fellow coaches who stood alongside me through it all.

Most importantly, I thank God for placing me here—for giving me the chance to impact lives, to be impacted, and now, for guiding me into a new chapter. This isn’t a goodbye. It’s a “see you later.”

With love and gratitude,

What’s done in the dark always comes to light good or bad and with that this has been a season of great favor for these kids, and it’s been nothing short of amazing. I’ve had the honor to train both of these teams, not knowing they were planting seeds of greatness. Thank you to both Hoover and Minor Communities for trusting me with your kids. Lastly congrats to all the teams displayed that won there championships #1of1Built🥇 taken in Birmingham, Alabama by @1of1athletix
