Buying flowers for me, my mom & grandmother is part of my SELF CARE routine! This brings so much peace & joy to my days! 🌹🌻🪴

I've been getting my fresh Flowers from Trader Joe's since my sistas over at @blackgirlsintraderjoes said to do so!! I always choose to make my own arrangements because simple is always best and I like what I like 😉😁

The staff is ALWAYS helpful at my local Trader Joe's with choosing flowers & plants!! As a newbie, thats key for me! My cashier advised me to come in the morning for flowers because they're delivered daily and those are the best picks! 💛💛

Also, @blackgirlsloveflowers is great place to see different arrangements and learn tips for caring for you flowers! 🤎

Although this birthday started off not as expected, I pray year 38 brings us an abundance of joy, love, growth and peace! 💛 Know that this past season of uncertainty and loss, was just that, A SEASON‼️ Our overflow of BLESSINGS are on the way!!

A night out with the Girls.....YES PLEASE 🩷❤️

Last Saturday was our 1st girls night out with @nicegirlslinkup and it was SO MUCH FUN!! The room was filled with joy, laughter and good vibes!! We showered eachother with gifts and talked the night away. And if you know @buzinessminded, then you know everyone walked away with lots of content lol!

I made a promise to myself this year to be more intentional with stepping outside of my comfort zone and being open to new environments. As an introvert and homebody, these types of environments make it easy 🩷

Let this be your sign to put yourself in rooms with like-minded individuals. We all need community! It feels good to show up in rooms where you can be your Authentic Self!! Don't believe me, take the time to find a community that shares your same interests and watch the positive impact it has on your life. Whether its books, gardening, sports, comics, volunteering, etc., there's a community for you outside of your friends & family 💛

Can't wait to see my girls again in September 🎉

FLOWERS FOR THE GIRLS 💐💐💐

April 8th made 3 years my lil lady became my angel and this is the 1st time I've had the strength to visit her & refresh her flowers! 🥹🌹

Went to @traderjoes for my flower pickup and chose yellow roses for her and multi-colors roses for me and my mom. To my surprise, a young man asked for help picking out flowers for this girlfriend and ended up buying our flowers for us. MADE OUR DAY 💛💛

To anyone on their grief journey, please remember to give yourself GRACE and be PATIENT with yourself!! BE KIND TO YOURSELF‼️ This isn't something we were given the tools for because everybody handles grief differently. We're in this together! Love you 🥰

On this #InternationalWomensDay, I celebrate ME 💛

When @mrs.khagler announced she was opening @haglermethodpilates, I knew this was going to be the place for me. Me and @ereka_kanee have talked about doing pilates as something to do together to help with getting our lives together. And when @letsgeauxnik came home in December, it was right on time because we talked about pilates as well.

I made a promise to myself that I was going to be consistent with pilates and as of March 7th, I've taken a total of 15 classes 🎉🎉🎉 I'M SO PROUD OF MYSELF!!!

Shoutout to Me for keeping my promise to myself, and THANK YOU to my accountability partners!! I LOVE Y'ALL 😘😘

And if you haven't been to Hagler Method as of yet, I suggest you make your way!! The instructors speak life into you, while pushing you to become your best self. As @tayelisemarie recently said, "We got goals to accomplish!" So see y'all at the next class 🤞🏾😎
