Last night was incredibly special! I got to see the absolutely legendary Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine in Nashville. The energy was divine, the sense of community was strong, and god damn the music was loud as all Hell. We all need to get together in both anger and love in times as miserable as these!! That’s the power of music, ESPECIALLY rock music 🤟
That Chris Cornell tribute on the second slide was incredible, by the way. Had me in tears.

Amaze. Amaze. Amaze.
Saw Project Hail Mary in IMAX and it was SOOOO good! Ryan Gosling killed it and I’ve never loved rocks more. I want my own personal Rocky.

The visuals were so stunning and breathtaking I swear to god I went to specs for 2 and a half hours today… I just can’t prove it.

First infinity castle movie!!!
Ive been following Demon Slayer since the first season was the only thing out. I attribute it to one of the big reasons I grew close with my mom. I grew up absorbed with its colors, characters, and- most of all- emotions. It’s raw empathy and it’s focus on familial bonds (including ones not by blood) has touched very personal parts of me ever since episode 1. Every theatrical premiere I’ve been there with my merch, mom by my side. From living in an abusive household, to hotels, to apartments, and to homes Demon Slayer has been there for me and my mom to lose ourselves in.
Sure this is silly and dramatic, but this franchise means the world to me.
Watching the beginning of the end on the big screen today- sitting next to my best friend/mother, just as we did watching it all those years ago while trying to escape the realities of the abuse we faced, as we laughed and cried together- was a very big deal for me.
The joy Demon Slayer brings me knows no bounds, and the utter scope of the thrill, excitement, and sadness I felt while watching the new movie today is proof yo that.

The very day we adopted her V.S one of the last pictures I got of her before she was gone.
It may get easier but it never, EVER gets better. And sometimes I feel like the pain is just as strong as the day I lost her. She was my dream dog. I had begged and begged for a pug. And crazy thing is, she was a complete surprise. We had applied to adopt her two years before we were selected to retrieve her. It was like she was meant for us. She WAS meant for us. She perfected our family and was there with us through all the hell weve gone through. So, so many memories have been made with her. But I can’t help but wish there were still more memories to be made with my precious baby girl. I loved her with all my heart, and I always will.
