Had a crazy idea, and I decided to just do it! Chocolate chip sourdough sliced 3/4"...

Dipped in a wash of eggs, milk, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract...

Pan fried in butter...

and....

Chocolate chip sourdough French toast with butter and maple syrup. Excellent! by @1tsquare1964

Tried a new method on the pork belly burnt ends (with beef sausage thrown in). Instead of smoking the whole belly first, then curing it up for the glaze, I cubed it so each piece of pork would get some smoke all over. Turned out pretty good. Made the glaze with BBQ sauce, maple syrup, a stick of Kerigold butter, and a 1/4 cup of brown sugar. Applied the glaze, and 2 hrs in the smoker to finish it off. by @1tsquare1964

Did another experiment - chocolate chip sourdough, with a brown sugar glaze. Been thinking outside the box for so long, I'm not even sure where the box is anymore. Pretty happy with the caramelization from the brown sugar, and good distribution of the chocolate chips. Here we go! by @1tsquare1964

My 67% hydration loaf done on a Pullman loaf pan, sliced in my rotary slicer. Tastes great, and fits in a toaster!

Good crumb from medium hydration, good fermentation, chocolate chips included during the first stretch and fold when the salt is added. by @1tsquare1964

My second attempt at pork belly burnt ends. I had to include some beef sausage, as one of the crew doesn't eat pork. Lots of BBQ sauce, butter, and brown sugar to add the sweetness. by @1tsquare1964

My first attempt a bacon burnt ends (smoked pork belly, cubed, and braised in BBQ sauce, brown sugar, and butter). I'm pretty satisfied so far. They are DELICIOUS! by @1tsquare1964
