I started my first business selling candy 🍭 from the corner store in the hood. Living in the environment I was in I always looked to find a way to make it out. I said I would sell candy and used to make $40 a day selling little bags of candy. It wasn’t much but it provided for things me & my brother needed. Some nights we didn’t know if we would even make it back home. Some nights we didn’t eat. Walking through the streets praying before you leave out. Being asked “what you claim” is a life or death sentence where I’m from. We had to be smart.. we took risk.. but we made sure to make it back. The streets don’t love nobody. 💯Bound within a community full of gangs, violence, drug dealers, murders and more. A lot of those people were just hurt souls and couldn’t find a way out. Thinking outside my environment and dreaming of a different life helped me make daily choices that allowed me to move one step closer to the goal. I’ll never forget where it started or where I came from ☝🏿 by @1wifye
