Dear AJ,Hasn’t really hit me that I’ll never be ever to physically see you again. Growing up in show band and having to play bass drum? Wasn’t the move at all lol. I’d sit and just watch you play sometimes and would say to myself “I wanna play the quads” sometimes I’d be so locked in on your playing Mr.Irvine would call me out because I wouldn’t be playing my own part right but I didn’t care because when it came to quads? You were my hero. When it came to quads, you were my MJ. I always wanted to play like you and being able to sit under you and watch you play was like a kid in a candy shop. You taught me everything you knew just not about quads but about drums was a dream come true and I’ll always be grateful. We was suppose to shed some more bro.
