Long before I was handing people keys, I watched my mother work to get ours.

I grew up in Ensley and Greenacres, where my mom chose a rent-to-own path so her kids could have good schools, friendly neighbors, and a yard to play in. Twenty years later, I’m building my own family here in Birmingham, and I see now that she taught me more than what it takes to own a home. She showed me what it looks like to keep working toward something better.

Most people aren’t missing the desire to buy. They’re missing the roadmap: credit, financing, equity, and the questions no one told them to ask. My goal isn’t just to open the door for you. It’s to make sure you know what’s waiting on the other side.
