EXPEDITION FALLBOUND: ADIRONDACKS 🍁

725 miles. Endless fall foliage. Incredible scenery. Amazing people. One heck of an adventure.

We just wrapped up our Expedition Fallbound: Adirondacks adventure, and what a trip it was! Over the past week, our small convoy made its way through 725 miles of some of the most beautiful country Upstate New York has to offer. Winding scenic backroads, remote gravel roads, rugged trails, mountains covered in brilliant fall colors, incredible campsites, and some fantastic local food along the way.

But as always, the best part wasn’t just the places we went. It was the people we shared them with. The conversations around camp, the laughs over dinner, the unexpected discoveries, and the friendships built over hundreds of miles together. That’s what makes these adventures so special.

The Adirondacks absolutely delivered. Mile after mile of spectacular fall scenery, quiet little towns, incredible mountain views, and places tucked away from the crowds that most people will never get the opportunity to experience. There’s so much more to New York than most people realize, and we barely scratched the surface.

This crew made a choice. They chose NO MORE SOMEDAY. Instead of talking about taking that trip someday, they loaded up their rigs, cleared their calendars, and went. And in doing so, they got to experience a side of New York State that most people never will.

To everyone who joined us on Expedition Fallbound, thank you for being part of another incredible DestinationXtreme adventure. The miles were unforgettable, but the people made the trip.

Stop dreaming. Start doing. No More Someday.

The Maritime Adventure is officially in the books, and this one will be hard to top.

We traveled deep into coastal Nova Scotia, explored the Fortress of Louisbourg, followed the world-famous Cabot Trail, camped high above Meat Cove, and spent our nights beside rivers, beaches, cliffs, and the North Atlantic. We crossed onto Prince Edward Island, visited the home of Anne of Green Gables, enjoyed incredible local food, and eventually pushed toward the Fundy coast for technical trails filled with water, mud, rocks, and stream crossings.

The campsites were absolutely unreal. Some sat high above the ocean, others were tucked beside quiet rivers or hidden along beaches without another person in sight. Every day brought something completely different, and somehow each campsite seemed to outdo the one before it.

But as always, the places were only part of the story. It was the laughter around camp, the challenges overcome together, the new friendships, and the crew that made this expedition what it was. We began with a group of vehicles and returned home as a family with stories we will be telling for years.

This is DestinationXtreme. Full immersion, real exploration, and memories that cannot be bought from the sidelines.

No More Someday.

“Into the Unknown” lived up to its name this past weekend. We spent the weekend exploring new trails and rediscovering long-forgotten ones, surrounded by old friends, new friends, and the kind of people who make this community so special. We shared an incredible lakeside campsite, miles of adventure, and even a surprise Saturday night when two more Trail Leaders and one of our Ambassadors arrived on their way home from a DestinationXtreme expedition.

But the weekend also took a heartbreaking turn. Our group came upon a serious ATV accident in the woods only moments after it happened. Both individuals were critically injured. Trail Leader Jeff Greene immediately stepped forward to help manage the scene with other Ambassadors and members providing medical support to on-scene paramedics of the first ambulance on scene. One member, Tony, even rode in the ambulance, continuing to help care for a patient, with another member, Heath, following behind, as the ambulance responded to a hospital approximately 30 minutes away due to a time delay with Life Flight. Jeff, with other members, remained on scene providing first aid and support to the second critically injured person until the second ambulance arrived approximately 20 minutes later.

Sadly, one of the injured individuals did not survive. Our deepest condolences go out to their family, friends, and everyone affected by this tragedy.

This is never a situation we would wish for anyone to face. But when our crew arrived, they did not hesitate. They stayed calm, stepped in, and gave everything they could to help two strangers during their greatest moment of need.

We want to recognize and thank Trail Leader Jeff, Ambassador Kurt, Tony, Heath, and every 207 Overland member who assisted, along with the Maine Game Wardens, paramedics and all the first responders involved. We say it often, but moments like this prove it beyond question: we truly have the very best people in this organization. We could not be more proud of the compassion, courage, and selflessness they showed when it mattered most. #207Overland #IntoTheUnknown #OverlandCommunity #MaineOverlanding #StrongerTogether by @207_overland

DestinationXtreme begins with one decision: stop waiting for someday and go.

The Fundy coast gave us a little bit of everything today. Technical trails, deep mud, loose rocks, standing water, and stream crossings that kept every driver focused and every vehicle working.

After earning every mile, we climbed out of the woods and arrived at an incredible cliffside campsite overlooking the ocean. Waves crashing below, endless coastal views, and another perfect night with an amazing crew.

This is what DX is all about. Big trails, wild places, and campsites that don’t suck.

Ready to stop dreaming and start doing? Our complete 2027 DestinationXtreme lineup will be revealed this Thursday at 8 PM ET. Spots are limited and first come, first served.

No More Someday.

Weeks away from home means one thing: our power system has to work just as hard as the truck does.

Between the fridge and freezer, tent heater, satellite communications, phones, cameras, and everything else we depend on, our daily power demands are huge. That is where our Lensun Solar setup has been a game changer.

We run one panel on top of the iKamper to support our auxiliary power system, while a new hood-mounted Lensun panel keeps Kodiak’s starting battery topped off and ready. Together, they quietly collect power all day, helping keep both systems at 100% without requiring us to think about them.

When you are deep into a multi-week expedition and far from home, dependable power is not a luxury. It keeps our food cold, our communications online, our cameras rolling, and the entire operation moving forward.

We woke up beside a quiet river and wasted no time getting back on the trails. The morning climbed quickly into higher elevations, trading the water below for rugged terrain, sweeping views, and another incredible stretch of the Maritime Adventure.

By the end of the day, we were back at the ocean with perfect weather, an empty coastline, and not another soul around. Every photo in this post is from tonight’s camp, because some places deserve the entire spotlight.

This is one of those campsites that don’t suck.
