My poor baby once again had to go through so much 😞 What was a nice day at the lake turning into Sara being hospitalized. Sara was saying her stomach feels full from eating which she didn’t eat much that day on the way home she started vomiting then said she feels better. Then when we got home she kept vomiting until the next day me thinking she swallowed lake water or stomach bug!! Later that day Sara screams “mommy it’s time to go to the hospital “ they do lots of tests we’re there all day into the night then doctor says I have something to tell you my heart drops no parent likes that word….He says Sara has appendicitis and not sure if it’s ruptured but by the look of it we need to get transferred by ambulance to Uc Davis in Sacramento, California. They admit Sara next day she has surgery she had a hole in her appendix and recovery will be 1-2 day stay with antibiotics. During her recovery it turned for the worse no talking, barely moving, no eating or drinking which put her in critical malnutrition. She needed another surgery for picc line and had TPN stands for Total Parenteral Nutrition. They told me we’re so lucky to have Sara it could have been worse. To watch your child like that was the worse feeling thank you GOD for protecting her 📿 . We were in the hospital longer than expected Sara is not yet out the woods she will need to go weekly to Uc Davis for treatment, special food, nutritional supplements and drinks and whatever else she needs! Such a powerful event for the city of Stockton!! Such a great turnout for our youth and community! There was free haircuts, food, face painting and so much more.
