I guess these are the moments to remember and cherish blah blah ☺️. So a speech would have gone like this:

“Jehovah Father alone give thanks Jah alone know!Steve-O, Jackie B., family and my Unit without you all I am nothing. To all my friends and those who spur me on maximum respect!🫡

But this is for the People of Barbados 🇧🇧, and the powerhouse teams at the BTMI and persons I have had the pleasure to work along with to promote this amazing destination. Past and present, those who had sat along and supported every crazy idea,those who guided and course corrected as we launched into the recognition of an entire Region.To our external and trade partners who have embraced our message with warmth and now reward - we say thanks! This is why we do what we do my people! Tourism is Barbados’ business.

So this is Christmas! well we have reached with the very first of a kind! Merry Christmas to all family, friends and errryybody!! As the youngers say, if you know you know, cause for long time me and Father Christmas been at it! bahhumbug…This year being no different!
But as this year rolls through it’s reflective,it’s a bit sad, but it’s also filled with love,joy and laughter and some great memories of some special people cuz we lost some .Them ones who really bring and share the love happiness of this thing called Christmas.
So to some special ones: Granny ah miss that black cake would lick a white bucket all now ; Aunt Maureen unwrapped gifts just to include me you win; Kimmie time was limited, but the black sheep on the ‘outside’ thuggy thug; Malia and Donna the two Xmas angels who saved my Xmas day in ‘23 the road run goin start soon!…..Merry heavenly Christmas my loves! 🙏🏾 🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️

As it takes time to live, so it takes time to seal the best deals.Time spent perfecting your craft will always leave you ahead of your competitors.
Just over two years ago I was given the great chance to lead our Sports Department. As always I had a personal mission to do something different-to dream the impossible and create a new reality.
After 1 1/2 years (many phone calls,meetings & changes of scope later) we finally created the reality with this one ,a first of a kind deal that would see Barbados denoted as the Official Tourism Destination Marketing partner of the PGA.
Can’t not be proud of this one!!

Spent the last few weeks reconnecting with our Caribbean stakeholders, from the Ceos of like qausi governmental tourism agencies in Guyana, Trinidad and Dominca to agents and tour operators, and of course our airline partners across the isles.
The Sales Blitzes, as they are called,which also touched St.Lucia, Grenada & St. Vincent delivered a strong sales and marketing message for the full rebranding of Barbados in the mind of the Caribbean consumer.

The goal will be to increase and supplement the current visitor arrivals to Barbados. These missions are aimed at driving business to Barbados for the summer, Crop Over, Food & Rum Festival as well as trough periods - September to November.

Had that whole obligatory birthday post planned- but Big up the PM, big up Errol Barrow "satellites of none". But here goes... What have I learnt in 40:
1-the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist (bascially most ppl fake as hell.. But it's a chess board, play it well)
2-dream the impossible (like you have no idea anything can happen.... Anything!!)
3-Sink or swim (don't ever give up.. On nuttin.. Ur choice ur rules)
4-life goes on - shit bascially will happen, tommorow's another day
