Després de la nostra presentació a la Milan Design Week 2026 aquest abril, dijous passat 18 de juny vam portar Dos Mil Quatre-Cents Setanta Grams a Barcelona durant quatre dies. Gràcies a tothom per acompanyar-nos a la inauguració, i a tots els qui heu passat a veure l’exposició aquest cap de setmana.

1832 quilòmetres després, Dos Mil Quatre-Cents Setanta Grams arriba a la seva fi. 🤍

Gràcies a la @llumllumllumllumllum i la @betdnin per posar-hi la millor música, i a @estrelladamm per ajudar-nos a combatre la calor.

I gràcies a tots aquells que heu cregut i fet possible el projecte des del seu inici. Ens veiem ben aviat.

We are thrilled to open the June issue (No. 19) of @icondesignes @elpais.

“La modestia de Dos Mil Quatre-Cents Setanta Grams era un baño de realidad para rebajar el glamour: un retrato colectivo de la nueva horneada de creadores catalanes, que comparten sentido de comunidad, un interés por los procesos manuales y artesanales y una aproximación más cercana al mundo del diseño.”

The feature includes a collective portrait of the 18 designers and five curators of Dos Mil Quatre-Cents Setanta Grams in @naveseis, shot by @nachoalegre a few weeks ago.

Puff stool is the stool designed by @eduardbarniol, one of the 12 pieces exhibited at Dos Mil Quatre-Cents Setanta Grams for Milan Design Week 2026.

“I thought making a foam stool would let me reach a larger scale than I could have with wood. I also wanted to create a piece with a decorative element, using buttons and a fabric I found at an antiques market.” — Eduard

7 minuts is the hourglass designed by @m__.rg and @laiacanales, one of the 12 pieces exhibited at Dos Mil Quatre-Cents Setanta Grams for Milan Design Week 2026.

“Starting from the maximum weight distributed across each phase of the glass piece with specific thicknesses, we determined the volume of the first bubble and calculated the sand needed to fill it so the total reaches the final weight.” — Laia and María
