Jesus himself told us in John 5:41 (KJV); "I receive not honour from men." Do well to find out what He said in verse 44 as well. We are to seek the honour that comes from God only.

We are not menpleasers, we are Godpleasers.

We do not "set our affection on things of this earth, but on things above [wherein lies our hope, redemption & faith in God our creator]"→ Colossians 3:1-2.
We are aware of satan and his devices, so the (negative) opinion of men do not matter to us, we will not let them hinder us, for we are rooted in Christ and God himself is our audience.

Remember; "I am with you always, even unto the end of the world."
[Matthew 28:20, KJV]

Also, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you." [Isaiah 43:2, NIV]

Purification sets us apart as children called by God for the establishment of His will.
We were called to be set apart from the world not to be joined to it; being set apart from the world entails sanctification (purity).

The need to be purified is the need to become as He is, even as His word says; "Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy."
[1Pet 1:16, KJV]

How To Surrender your Life to Christ;

You do not have to be in church to surrender your life to Christ.
You can surrender your life to Christ right where you are, it is the best choice you'd ever make.

Romans 10:9, 10 & 13 [KJV] says " ⁹ That if thou shalt confess with the mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. ¹⁰ For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. ¹³ For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

From this point of salvation forward, it is your job to continue to read God's word and grow continually in the spirit by praying regularly (1 Pet 2:2). Get to know God more intimately (Exo 33:13) through His word and the sweet fellowship of the holy spirit, likewise the fellowship of the brethren. (Heb 10:25) Continue to get actively involved in the ministry that He gives to you and seek & serve Him diligently and trust me, God will reward you. (Isa 45:19)

Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6 : 5-13;

"⁵And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
⁶But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which seeth in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly."

→Prayer is a 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 & fellowship with God for the sole purpose of 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐲 not 'showmanship'.
