It’s been a weird year.

A year that has tested me in ways I never imagined, stretched my patience, challenged my strength, and forced me to confront parts of life I wasn’t prepared for. Some days have been heavier than others, and some battles have been fought quietly, behind smiles that never really told the whole story. I’ve had moments of uncertainty, days when the future felt blurry, and times when all I could do was take a deep breath and keep going.

Today, I turn a year older, and honestly, I don’t have everything figured out. I’m not where I hoped I would be by now, and life hasn’t exactly gone according to plan. But despite everything, I’m still here. Still trying. Still learning. Still believing that my current circumstances are not the final definition of my life.

And if there’s one thing I’m holding on to, it’s my faith in God. Because even when I don’t understand the process, I choose to believe there’s still a purpose in it. I’m praying for better days, renewed strength, peace of mind, financial stability, and the grace to become the man I know I can be. I hope this new chapter brings light to the places that have felt dark for too long.

Today, I celebrate not just another year of life, but the strength it has taken to get here. I may not have all the reasons to smile today, but I still have reasons to hope. And for now, that is enough.

Happy birthday to me. May God make the coming year kinder, brighter, and more meaningful than the one I’m leaving behind.

It’s really been a weird year. 🤍🧘‍♂️🫂 by @24_kaz

Today, I’m feeling ennui. 🖤

It’s a strange kind of emptiness when nothing is particularly wrong, yet nothing feels particularly right either. You wake up, go about your day, smile when necessary, and answer when spoken to, but somewhere within you, everything feels a little less alive.

It’s not sadness you can easily explain, nor pain you can point to. It’s the quiet exhaustion of doing the same things, seeing the same patterns, and wishing something would stir the part of you that life has left untouched for a while.

Perhaps the heart gets tired of routine, too. Perhaps the soul occasionally craves something it cannot name, like a new beginning, a meaningful connection, a reason to feel excited about tomorrow.

And maybe that’s okay.

Not every quiet season is a crisis. Not every empty feeling needs an immediate explanation. Sometimes, we simply need to pause, breathe, and allow ourselves to exist without pretending to have everything figured out.

Because even in the most uneventful seasons of life, something within us may still be waiting to feel alive again.

Today, I’m feeling ennui. And perhaps, tomorrow, I’ll feel something beautiful again. 🥀

Today, I’m feeling exulansis.

That strange feeling of having so much going on inside you, yet somehow finding yourself unable to put any of it into words.

Not because you don’t understand what you’re feeling, but because explaining it feels almost impossible. You could talk for hours and still feel like you haven’t said the important part. So you just sit there, quiet, hoping someone might understand what you can’t seem to explain.

Sometimes it’s sadness. Sometimes it’s happiness. Sometimes it’s confusion, nostalgia, gratitude, exhaustion, or a mixture of everything at once.

And sometimes, you’re not even looking for advice. You just want someone to sit beside you without asking, “What’s wrong?”

Because there are feelings that don’t need fixing. They just need to be felt.

I think I’m a hypochondriac today. 😂

Because why did my body make one tiny, completely innocent noise and my brain immediately start preparing my obituary? 😭

A slight headache? “Hmm… this might be serious.”

My heart beats a little faster? “Okay, let’s Google that.”

Stomach makes one strange sound? “So this is how it ends?” 😂

The funny thing is, sometimes nothing is actually wrong. It’s just me, my imagination, and Google forming a three-man committee to convince me that I have 17 different diseases. 😭

I’m learning to listen to my body without becoming afraid of every little sensation. Not every ache is a crisis, not every symptom means the worst, and sometimes the best diagnosis is simply: “Bro, calm down.” 😂 by @24_kaz
