Clocks go back twice in one week this year. 🕰️

Europe and the UK fall back on Sunday, October 25. The US and Canada follow on Sunday, November 1. In between, the usual gap between New York and London is one hour shorter.

Your 24/7 stream keeps running through both. What needs a check is anything you set to a clock time: playlist switches, premieres, live sessions, scheduled posts.

A quick look this week saves a confused chat later.

Not sure how your setup handles it? DM us.

More than 40% of YouTube live watch time comes from viewers outside the creator's home country. That's YouTube's own number from Made On YouTube 2026. 🌍

For a 24/7 music stream this matters more than for most formats. Your stream is live in every time zone at once, so your audience probably is too.

Quick extra tip: before you translate anything, open your top geographies in YouTube Studio. Translate for the countries that already show up.

YouTube didn't ban AI music.

On July 16, YouTube clarified which content it won't monetize. Three types: generic or template-based videos, off-putting content made to shock, and AI personas giving advice on health, finance or legal topics.

For a 24/7 music channel, the first type is the one to watch. A single loop with a stock background and a generic title can look a lot like a template.

YouTube also said a channel with too much of this content can't monetize. So one strong stream won't cover a channel full of copies. Curate the tracks and refresh the visuals so your work shows a human hand. 🎧

Three 24/7 streams that never turn off.

Nothing, Forever is an AI-made Seinfeld spoof that ran on Twitch for weeks with almost no viewers. Then it got talked about, and it went past 98K followers.

Twitch Plays Pokémon let chat control one game together. Over 1.16 million people pressed buttons.

And Stop Sign Cam pointed one camera at one intersection. Chat invented its own driver categories and watched around the clock. 🛑

None of them needed a big production. Just one idea that keeps going.

The ghost is on shift. 👻

Halloween is the one time of year people actually look for spooky lo-fi, and a 24/7 stream means you can be there for every late-night search while you sleep.

Set it up now, keep it running through October.

Launching a 24/7 lo-fi or ambient channel is simple in theory and easy to get wrong in practice🫠

🖇️ Clear your music rights before anything else, thirty tracks you can actually use beats three hundred you can’t.

🖇️ Pick your sub-genre on purpose, since lo-fi, jazzhop, chillhop, and sleep ambient each pull different search demand and different session lengths.

🖇️ Keep individual segments under 12 hours so each one archives as its own searchable video.

If you’re using AI-generated music, treat it as a production tool with a licensing question attached, not a free catalog.

And judge the format on watch time in month three, not views in week one, the algorithm needs time to route a stable audience to a stream that never stops.

📩DM us your questions if you’re setting one up.

YouTube just changed how a view gets counted. Starting August 24, 2026, a view registers the second a video or stream starts playing, no minimum watch time, across long-form, Shorts, and live. Your public numbers will likely go up. Your ad earnings won’t.

For 24/7 channels this hits differently: an always-on stream picks up new viewers at random moments all day long, so the view count was already a soft growth metric. It just got softer. Keep judging your channel by watch time and session length, not by how fast the counter moves.

Tap the link to see plans and get your stream running around the clock.

Like this endless ocean loop…
your content doesn’t have to “end” when you stop uploading.
It can keep flowing, reaching new people every hour.

You don’t need endless new content. You just need your content to stay visible longer. 🚀
