i braided apo whang od 🥹

and i can’t even begin to describe how honorable this experience was. during my time away, i visited my home country and traveled to buscalan, home of the oldest tattoo artist in the world, apo whang od. i received two traditional pieces from her on either side of my face and was granted the opportunity of braiding her. she’s 108 years old, my oldest client to date hehe.
i’m still reeling about this moment, what an honour to service a legend like apo. an even bigger blessing that she loved her hair :) taken in Buscalan, Tinglayan, Kalinga by @26braided

i don’t usually post such simple styles but i wanted this one on my page just cause his color is so fun hehe. i really do like working on dyed hair if it’s dyed properly, sometimes hair gets really damaged and it’s difficult to work with but luckily this wasn’t the case. yall have kept me so beyond booked for this back to school season, thanks for all the love ❤️

how much yall think i charged for this?

and whatever your answer is, triple it because that’s what i should have charged 😂. it’s been a while since i’ve felt seriously challenged at work, this wasn’t so difficult as it was tedious but that’s definitely what made it hard. regardless, I DID IT. i’m proud of this one and i’m so grateful to my client for his trust.
