We focused on creating mood with a lighter colorstory and darker shadows, bringing to life a romantic European style, pulling in many textures and layers to create depth and dimension. The details in the florals, paper goods, and textiles were painterly and colorfully muted with a palette of apricot, blush, mauve, soft buttery yellow, peach, and dusty blue with pops of chartreuse and oxblood.

With that old world dark romance style in mind, we carefully selected an incredible list of pieces from the wood table to the old and mismatched chairs to the vintage lace runner. We curated crystal glassware, handmade earthenware plates, vintage mother of pearl silverware, and a frayed, raw-edge napkin for every placesetting.

Florals were soft and delicate, but with a fullness. With dainty blooms like butterfly ranunculus, hellebore, lisianthus, sweet peas, and poppies, the arrangements had a whimsical touch about them.

Through shadows we pulled a darkness into the images to make this artfully intentional. From the tones within the colorstory to the antique pieces to the textures and everything in between, not one stone was left unturned.

As seen on the cover of @washingtonweddingday.

Our team loses sleep (in the best way) when it comes to your invites and day of stationery. We are working with your stationery designer so closely, reviewing textures and weights, cooling through inspiration and patterns, exploring shapes and sizes, and at the end of it, it blends so seamlessly into your wedding day. This fall wedding showcases one of our favorites!

A lover of the details. I think it’s a special kind of magic the way client’s personalities can be seen through their details- infusing them into the tangibility of the day 🤌🏼 Making every inch of their day, from invitation to late night clinks of glasses- feel so unique and special to the two of them.
