We have an important spray wall update🚨🚨

We know have Stōkt on our spray wall!!

The Stōkt app allows you to map your climbs and set blocs for others to try!

We’re really excited to have it and even more stoked to see what you can come up with🤩🧗🏻‍♂️

I’ve been thinking a lot about the psychological side of climbing coaching lately — particularly how often coaches find themselves helping climbers with things like fear, confidence, frustration or pressure, without necessarily having had much training in how to approach those conversations.

That’s why I put together my Sport Psychology for Climbing Coaches course.

I’ll be running the next one at 270 Climbing Park on 13 October. It’s a small, practical day looking at things like:

• supporting climbers who are struggling with fear
• building confidence
• motivation and persistence
• dealing with mistakes, setbacks and pressure

It’s aimed at climbing coaches and is recognised as Mountain Training CPD. You don’t need any previous sport psychology experience.

There are only a few places left so if this sounds useful for your coaching, there’s more information and booking details via the link in my bio.

I’d also love to see this shared with other climbing coaches who might find it useful — @270climbingpark, feel free to collaborate on the post if you’d like to share it with your coaching community.

It’s a very sad day at 270 today as we wish goodbye to our very own coach Si. 💔

After many fun filled months our Welsh wizard heads back across the Severn bridge. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

“Thanks to all my students, I’m going to miss you all. Always remember climbing is suppose to be fun”

Drop your favourite coach Si moment in the comments ⬇️⬇️⬇️
