Last night @MercuryLoungeNY opening for @ArtBrutBandOfficial, I enjoyed seeing new Brooklyn indie rock band @MyWonderfulBoyfriend (quote @EddieArgos, "Top of the Pops!") chiming guitars and catchy hooks that surf the edge between slacker rock & power pop, including on current single "I'm Your Man."

@haydenarpmusic and I have a new song out in the world called She Waits. It is the second song released from our upcoming collaborative album that has been in the works for a very long time. The album deals with childhood, family, and the inevitable loss of innocence we all face as we get older.

She Waits paints the picture of an idyllic childhood scene wherein an event occurs that points to something amiss beyond the narrator’s limited experience of the world.

The other song we’ve already released, Towers, comes at the end of the story, and represents the pain, fear and ultimately the freedom that comes with accepting that we can’t hold onto our childhood ideal forever.

For the rest of the story you’ll have to wait for the album to come out to fill in the gaps!

We are playing a show in Vienna this Monday with a string quartet to celebrate the album’s completion- if I know anyone here please come by!
