@thetacticalgames Arizona … who is showing up to see this bloodbath of broken egos

The rifle I’m running is getting built right now. Yes it will have a bayonet on it (It will be dulled) and yes if @thayer.nick puts close paper in an action stage I will be stabbing paper and counting it as hits.

Buy your tickets. This will be the best show this year. by @2a_dustin

Huge shoutout to @2a_dustin for stepping up and competing in his first @thetacticalgames this weekend!

It’s easy to sit on the sidelines, poke fun at a sport, or criticize something you’ve never tried. It’s a whole different thing to actually show up, put yourself out there, and see what it’s all about. Plus he was with the big boys squad!

Dude never quit or stopped all weekend, had a smile on his face (maybe not during burpees), and cheered folks on right after he was done.

That’s what I respect most. You don’t have to be the best, and you don’t have to love every part of it. But being willing to step outside your comfort zone and give something new a shot says a lot.

Last range day before heading to AZ to compete against some no-name shooter at @thetacticalgames

This no-name, thought he was cool shooting one-handed with a pistol so nice it’d make a 5-year-old look like a great shooter. Cute.

So here’s me doing it upside down, with my pinky, using a pistol that costs a quarter of what his does.

Yes, I aimed for 15 seconds. Greatness isn’t rushed.

Your move, no-name. See you in Arizona taken in Forest Lake Sportsmens Club by @2a_dustin

“No matter what gear you have, if you’re not willing to go that extra mile to do what you need to do, it doesn’t matter what gear you have.”

That one hit.

I sat down with Dustin Sanchez from JP Rifles to talk about competition shooting, Tactical Games prep, and what actually makes a rifle perform when the shit gets real.

We get into Dustin’s path from local 3-Gun matches to JP Rifles, the engineering behind their rifles, and the balance between accuracy, recoil, reliability, optics, ammo, and actual performance.

But honestly, my favorite part of this conversation is the reminder that gear will never replace the work.

You can have the most expensive rifle on the range.

You can have the best optic.

You can have all the fancy shit.

But if you aren’t willing to train your ass off, push yourself, and go that extra mile when it sucks…

None of it matters.

This is a fucking good one.

Fast targets don't leave much room for hesitation.

The FastFire E delivers a quick sight picture and precise aiming point, keeping you moving from one target to the next without breaking rhythm.

They gave me a choice mid-stage: climb the wall or dive through a freezing mud pit. I dove. Hard As Hell 3-Gun, 2018. Drank some questionable water, ruined some gear, and my jersey’s still stained red. Zero regrets. How do you take your obstacles — over, around, or straight through? 👇 by @2a_dustin
