Class of 2027 RB Isaiah Hansen (@2ayah.__) has announced his commitment to Iowa State.

Hansen, from Newton, Iowa, was originally offered by the cyclones under former head coach Matt Campbell, but locked in his commitment after recently meeting and being and re-offered by the new coaching staff in Ames.

During the 2025 high school season Hansen racked up an impressive 1337 total rushing yards and 18 total rushing touchdowns with the Newton Cardinals offense.

The 3⭐️ is the first ISU commit in the class of 2027.

When asked about his decision Hansen said “I think Coach Rogers is a great guy & someone people can trust to lead them to victory. Coach Johnson is great. He has a lot of energy and is cool to be around.”
