Toadstrologer- Details!

This drawing was created as part of the annual Drawtober art challenge! Originally, Toadstrologer was one of my "hell no" prompts, but that immediately made me want to challenge myself to do something with it and it ended up being a favourite 💚

Toadie was quite the challenge to draw! Completed in about two days, I wanted to create a toad astrologer who leaned a bit more serious than the more humorous gag ideas that immediately sprung to mind. I ended up loving the idea of the tongue being what chooses the client's cards, be they shy river spirits or gnarled tree nymphs. by @2b.aris

✨️Toura the Star Guardian ✨️

Pencil on Strathmore Mixed Media

This character was originally concepted on a trip to watch a shower of falling stars. From that wonky train sketch his myth grew.

Toura, having gathered fallen stars, heeded their wish and strung them together that they might be less alone in the great expanse of the heavens. Carefully draping them in the night sky, the first constellations were created. by @2b.aris

The final result of one of my favourites from 2025! Detail shots coming tomorrow :) A pencil drawing of an asian woman sitting. She is wearing elegant, ornate clothing and reminiscent of fantasy and anime designs. She is partially inspired by the game Love and Deepspace. by @2b.aris

A small section sneak-peek for 2027's #dragonageannual charity project. You'll be able to find the full environment piece in this year's calendar! Zines and tons of other fun merch goodies are also available with wonderful art and writing.

Pre-orders are currently OPEN with all the info at @dragonageannual

This was definitely one of my most challenging projects for the year but I'm so happy to see it all coming together wonderfully :D

"The Magician"
Graphite on Moleskine sketch paper

My traditional artist take on a CG from a game that hugely influenced my artistic journey. Everything from the atmospheres, characters, and themes i work with to the stories themselves are touched in some part by it.

I've been quite busy recently but hope to do more of these appreciation pieces for media that helped bring me to where i am now! I'll reveal the game when the detail shots come along ;)

Excited to finally reveal my take on Richeh!

This is by far one of my favourite works of the year so far.

The witch hat atelier anime has been doing a spectacular job adapting the manga so far. And while I plan to do a few of my favourites from the cast; Richeh here was first in line.

Hope you're all excited for next witch hat monday!

I already ran a poll for my next character and Agott won by a landslide (sorry Qifrey) so she's probably up next!

Did a study/redraw of one of my old favourites, a collaboration piece between Vonnart and Diandra Pop! It was really fun seeing where my own touches/style did peek through! Always a great exercise when I'm in a bit of a slump.

"Vhenan"

Finally found a way to post these two! My biggest and favourite comm of the year so far, it was painted to work on a smaller and poster-size scale. For the original, even individual freckles are visible! Featuring Solas alongside an OC Lavellan; OCs are always fun for me to bring to life, but bring with them a layer of pressure to get them just right to how their creator imagines them. Close-up of a digital painting of Solas and an Original Character from the Dragon Age franchise/universe. They are sharing a quiet intimate moment on a balcony as the sunset bathes them in soft pinks, oranges, and purples. by @2b.aris

I made this illustration based on a lovely fan-made Dragon Age short story!

Fandom and my interests are what got me into art and it makes me so happy that my and other's love for the wonderful stories and characters humans can create get to inspire more art and creativity.

I'll post the progress shots next week! by @2b.aris

My art entry for the Bel's Fanfare dtiys from @chibig.studio and @caro.waro
I was inspired by a moment where Bel meets Rovella, and their interaction really sold me on the whimsy of the world of the game!

I really like seeing games that stick true to their vision, narratively and visually, and i definitely see that here! Thank you for the competition. It was a joy drawing a little Bel excited by the world.
