The first father-son duo in NPC rugby.

We sat down with Weka legend Kahu Tamatea.

Like many who have worn both jerseys, Kahu’s connection to both unions is deeply rooted in those who inspired him, his whānau and his whakapapa.

To all the parents and whānau involved in sports — WE SEE YOU 🫶🏽

For many of you, this is just another Saturday.

Early morning junior games, juggling busy schedules, travelling between fields and courts, supporting different family members, making time so you can also participate in your own sport and somehow finding a coffee along the way 😊

Thank you for your commitment, support, alofa and time you give to your children, your clubs, your schools and our game.
Your understanding of how important sport is for them and our community goes unseen.
