In the fall of 2005 Zeta Beta produced 1 body with 27 moving pieces to impact the yard, strengthen our chapter, and go on to carry our passions into the community — guided by the Five Objectives of Kappa Alpha Psi. We did that at a high level.

As we reach 20 years in, we take pride in the reputation, influence and legacy we’ve built, but we chose to celebrate our greatest creation…FAMILY.

That’s why 2K5 is forever.

What started as 27 has grown into 100+ strong

“TOOOGA TOOOGA”…
In the spirit of the Toga being REVAMPED tomorrow down in PV by the @zoo_boyz , this #ThrowbackThursday honors a piece of PV history that changed the game and left its mark on the culture.

First off—respect and salute to Fall 2K2 KS Politiks & fellow Nupe, Dr. Julian Scott, for laying the legendary foundation of THE TOGA in the Spring of 2005, the first and now a certified ZB tradition. The following Fall, K.S. KontrAversY was born. When it was 2K5’s time to step up, we cranked the marketing, the turnout, and the experience up a notch.

At a time when facebook was barely even a thing, flyers ran the promo game. We went a road untraveled and script with a full- size printed movie poster—models, graphics, lifestyle —all on theme with the Toga Affair. To take it even further, we dropped the Toga 2 mixtape featuring Animal Nupes, elite PV artists, original anthems, skits, and the hottest party tracks of the era.

Sororities even made drops to help make it a campus-wide celebration. As for the results of the party… well, if you know, you know. You had to be there😏.

That level of explosive college marketing had never been seen before—and plenty others outside of ZB have “tried” to copy.

The blueprint of the Toga 2 poster has become an accompanying ZB legacy, now serving as the signature format in the promotion of the Toga.

Long live the Toga and Long live The ZOO👌🏾♦️

AH AH AH ANIMALS

Drop a testimony in the comments if you ever experience a ZB TOGA.

I am speechless, I have been hosting a founders day dinner since 2018. This year I chose not to host the event because of some personal struggles. @2k5is4ever was like nah. We will host a brunch and include you. Never did I imagine that they were going to recognize my dad who has been battling cancer. This has been dear to my heart. I am grateful for everyone who made this happen!🥺 by @2k5is4ever
