Sunday outfit & the message that I have been meditating on 🤍

“Self-preservation needs to die for you to live in the fullness of God.”

Sometimes, what we call protecting ourselves is actually keeping us from fully surrendering to God.

We hold tightly to our plans.
Our comfort.
Our ambitions.
Our relationships.
Our fears.
Our need to control the outcome.

And sometimes God is asking us to sacrifice the very thing we are desperately trying to preserve.

The message showed how, throughout Scripture, God brought life out of loss — Abraham sacrificed his affections, Gideon his fears, Elisha his ambition, Jonah his self-interest, Naaman his pride and Leah her worth.

Maybe the thing you are afraid to release is the very thing God wants to use to lead you into something greater.

Self-preservation or complete surrender?

I pray we have the courage to let go, trust God completely and experience the fullness of the life He has for us. 🙏🏽🤍

Meet my new cleaner, “Labake” 🤭😂🤖

In this house of three children, if there’s any little upgrade that can make life easier… SIGN ME UP! 😂🙌🏾

The Hoover HG2 Turbo Slim 2-in-1 Robot of @hoovermyhome that vacuums and mops, using smart laser navigation to find its way around the house. The best part? I can schedule cleans straight from the app, so while I am laying on my sofa😭😂, Labake can be getting to work!

And when she’s done cleaning? She simply returns to her station and empties herself. 👏🏾👏🏾

Honestly, we love a cleaner that knows her job and doesn’t need supervision! 🤭😂

Another little upgrade making a HUGE difference in the life of this mum of three. Because anything that gives me back a little more time and makes home life easier is a win for me! 🥰🙌🏾

I was recently having a conversation with some of my friends about motherhood and life, and one of the things that came up was about deciding how many children to have.
One of my friends believes that many people would have more children if they had the resources and support to do so.

So I’d love to hear your thoughts: If you had unlimited money, resources and all the support you needed, would you have more children?

For me, personally, I don’t think more resources or support would change the number of children I want to have.

Not because children aren’t a blessing, but because I also believe parenting when done intentionally, is a full-time responsibility. Beyond being financially prepared, I want to be physically and emotionally stable enough to support my children through the different stages of their lives. I also want to have the capacity to show up for my family while still adding value to the world around me beyond the four walls of my home.

For me, it’s about understanding my capacity, the kind of parent I want to be, and the life I want to build, not just whether I can afford more children.

But that’s just my perspective. 🤭

Another beautiful memory made🥹🥰

Honestly, it doesn’t always have to cost a fortune to make children happy. Sometimes, all it takes is a little planning, an experience, and being fully present.

And then you hear, “Mummy, this is the best day of my life!” 🥹😭❤️

The holidays are almost over, and I’m just grateful we’ve been able to make the most of them, creating memories, exploring, laughing, and enjoying these little years while they’re still little.

The girls are rocking these beautiful kimonos that my friend’s mum gifted them, and honestly, I’m obsessed with how gorgeous they look!

Suzanne, of course, has the highest number of pictures because madam is currently in her model era. 🤭😂📸

The twins, however? Snapping them is an extreme sport. 😭😂 So at this point, whatever picture I manage to get, I collect it with joy and gratitude. 🤣🙌🏽
