October was a reminder for me to live this life for me. It’s the only life I got and the only body I get to do it with so what we talkin’ about🤷🏽‍♀️ by @2miniloves4me

March reminded me of what support looks like and feels like. It also opened my eyes to know support is not only warranted in times of darkness. Support is needed for all aspects of your life especially the times you’re moving into a newness of self and newness of life. You know in times of rebirth and new challenges that break you through. From LAM to seeing Coach K before her TSP run from LA2LV, what I witnessed this month is overwhelming. It is breathtaking.
That CRC LAM cheer station brought me to tears!! The way yall enveloped runners with water and aid and change of shoes and hugs and whatever they needed yall made sure they had it.
Seeing the rally behind Coach K’s preparation and take off. Seeing the love people have for you when you’re living🙌🏽🙌🏽
When we put ourselves out there, the right people will show up for you and hold your hand, and give you safety and comfort in the steps you take.
When you put yourself out there, doing what’s on your heart, following the vision, the right people will enter your life to get you there.
The right people will come into your life and hold you down along the way and keep reminding you that you can do this shit and you’re not alone in doing it.
Thank you to the people who have supported me on this run. 🫶🫶🫶 by @2miniloves4me

Ask and you shall receive but you got to do the work.
These two images are exactly a year apart. ONE YEAR (and a day, but both taken on a Sunday🤷🏽‍♀️)

One day I just showed up to a long run and said hi.

I JUST SHOWED UP!!! @vm_fitness1 pulled up and said welcome. As everyone else trickled in, @tonirossrunstheworld (not pictured) ran up, literally RAN up, with another runner, I was floored when she introduced herself saying “yup, I’m a 53 year old grandma, 5 kids 4 grandkids” training for a solo TSP. I had NO idea what a TSP was. I offered to take the group pic and then Vic said you got to get in the pic too you part of the crew now.

I was nervous that morning, but I showed up.

In 12 months, some 5Ks, 10ks, relays, 4 halfs and a Hyrox, I am here, finishing my 2nd LA Marathon! With this group of people I have shared space on the asphalt in one or more of these runs. This group I met that day grew and became more than just a group. It became a family. And yesterday we stood in a circle praying together, preparing to take off to complete LAM, together.

I just showed up. It was hard AF but I kept going.

I will continue to say it- when you ask God and the Universe to give, to direct, to move you on the path, when you ask for guidance and blessings, trust me when I tell you be ready for it like a tsunami. The real work is the ability to receive all of what is planned for you!!! Being able to truly embrace with an open heart all that is meant for you times 10!!!

Awkward and Uncomfortable at times but I still showed up.

These two images are a testimony of how much your life can change in a year if you not only put yourself out there but also trust yourself. Trust yourself and know that The universe is AlWAYS working in our favor. The life that is ours is waaayyyyy bigger than what we could ever imagine.

But you got to show up.

Thank you @comptonrunclub for creating spaces for us to just show up! 🫶🫶🫶🫶🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️

When I run or workout, I don’t want to spend time doing my hair. #braidit #iykyk

Found some joy in January!
Amongst the hate and chaos within the world, I was blessed with love.
Love in conversations
Love for my children
Love in community
Love of music and movement
Love of self
Love of life
We only get to do this once! Be selective of who you do it with 😁 by @2miniloves4me

We only get to do this one time!!! Only ONCE!! Live it how you want. It’s yours!! #newedition #neweditiontour by @2miniloves4me

November was all about gratitude
Gratitude for community, friendship, family
Gratitude for this body, my health
Gratitude for the gift of watching the sunrise and the sunsets
Gratitude for the people who set goals and crushed them, who continue to bring the people together, who are examples of commitment and dedication
Gratitude for good people with grand intentions
Words aren’t enough how grateful I am for all of you
Toodles November✌🏽 by @2miniloves4me

October was for the ladies.
All my CRC sistas made this month so fun.
We laughed, we ran, we cheered, PRd, partied and sadly had to say goodbye too.
This month was another reminder that this life is to be lived. It’s short and none of us is promised a tomorrow. by @2miniloves4me
