[April 2023] "Virus-Free" Personality Quiz - mildly specific spam simulator made with @p5xjs & the OpenAI API during Yining Shi's course 'Machine Learning for the Web'. See documentation here: https://github.com/ratemypraxis/virus_free_personality_quiz Screencap of a web page showing a short personality quiz form filled out with a single abrasive pop-up advertisement that is oddly specific to the detailed filled out within the form. by @2nd.systems

[Dec. 2023] A few days ago Jo Suk @jo.stor & I shared slowchat v1.1 - a slow, paper-based TCP video chat. We set up two identical stations that exchanged & printed images from each other every minute over a local network. This took about 2 months of ideation & experimentation under the guidance of Mark Lam during his 'Re-decentralizing the Internet' course. Further documentation you can see at here: https://github.com/ratemypraxis/slowchat by @2nd.systems

[Oct. 2023] Insecam Roulette (v1) - experiment in live stream theory & practice alongside thoughts on in/security & surveillance in virtual & physical space. S/O to ylang cao @guts.wav for ideation & Molly Soda @bloatedandalone4evr1993 for mentorship during her 'Streaming Against the Current' course. More info about the making of this project at the following link: https://github.com/ratemypraxis/insecamRoulette/ Screenshot of a web page with a large centered title that reads "Insecam Roulette". On a two-column main area below we see a live video feed from a building entrance on a New York city street where two people walking by are visible in the left column and in the right column a feed of a web chat bar showing a welcome message for a use connecting from New York. Below the two is an about section describing the nature of the project. by @2nd.systems
