Garage update! Thanks for all the love on the Jazz reveal. The reason I got this car is not only because I wanted a cheaper low-stress daily, but I also wanted to make content on something I really enjoy, which is cheap nuggets.

Pretty much all of what I feature is expensive hero cars that I dream to afford, but am so far away from. And I’m aware it’s probably unrelatable to you, because sometimes it is to me too. So I wanted to start a content series on something we can all afford and enjoy, and blend the Jazz into the world of the crazy cool cars I’m lucky enough to drive these days.

I’m a HUGE Honda enthusiast and want to build this car to be a fun and tasteful budget car, with real bits from brands like Mugen and Spoon already on the way. But I also need to keep in mind that I have a massive savings target to achieve before the goal of buying a DC2 in Japan is a reality.

I took the Jazz for its first public outing to the first @staydriven.co track day with @drivewithcam last month, and couldn’t resist the opportunity to throw it around on the skid pan. Was also hilarious parking it up with the D Series Cup legends who were very helpful with mod advice, and were so excited to chat to me about the Jazz. This is why I love the Honda community.

First mods coming this week. Documenting more of this car on YT then here after, and M3 build will continue soon too.

Would love to know what you want to see with the Jazz as I plan it all out.

This is the biggest decision I’ve ever made…

It’s been 646 days since I made myself a promise, reignite the page and share my story and love for cars. Since then, my life has totally changed. And now, we enter a new chapter.

Every day for nearly two years has been focussed on one goal: share my passion and run my business full-time. And today, that’s become a reality. Thank you for your support. Every message, like, comment, support of my products has got me here. I owe so much to this community and it’s time to take it to another level.

I’m still so far off where I see this all going, but I’m proud of how far we’ve come, and already we’ve done things that a year ago I thought weren’t in the realm of possibility. If you have a goal, no matter what it is, you owe it to yourself to try. I’m proof it can happen with enough hard work and commitment.

Tonight we open the doors at The Box for our biggest community event yet.

Grid Night 3 is our third Friday night event in the last three weeks, and we’re doubling the capacity from last week for a C4 launch special. Catering by @royalstacksmoorabbin and soft drink, water and beers included in your ticket. The best thing about the last two is seeing a room full of strangers become mates after just a few hours, united by the love of cars. We’ve curated a wide display of cars, from a GT3 RS to Hondas, BMWs, Silvias and a few cars from the SD community.
 After this, we’ll be having a rest next week until the @zokuj open night on Friday, 7 August, which will be a completely different sort of event compared to our usual Grid Nights.

It’s Not Mine - Episode 27: Toyota GR86

I’m thrown the keys to the best press cars on the market, and the number one question I get is “how long have you had it?” to which I reply “it’s not mine”, hence the series’ title.

As someone who’s always wondered what the latest and greatest performance cars are like, it’s time to look back and tell you honestly if they’re worth it.

This is what we’ve been working on since March. Stay Driven Presents: C4.

C4 is built around early 2000s German Motorsport. From the video games, to watching motorsport with your old fella on the TV, to the movies and magazines that made us fall for this in the first place.

We’ve drawn from my halo car in the 997 GT3 RS and my favourite racecar in the E46 M3 GTR. A time when the cars were still analogue, and the liveries still meant something.

Countless hours went into this one. Massive thank you to Gav @gavinshade for bringing it to life. And shoutout Jess at @laag.media for creating the campaign.
