Two silly goosers decide to hike the length of the country…
And they did it.
August 27th, 2025. 🪿🪿
We are beyond grateful for this 5 month adventure. What a transformative experience. Words can’t fully express what it’s been like, but we’ve got another 15 weeks of blogs to tell you alllll about it! (They’ll be up soon, everything feels so surreal right now and we’re enjoying some much needed rest).
Thank you to the friends, trail angels and crews who kept us going. This trail would not be as amazing as it is without the kindness of the community.
See you on the next one!

Well first, we’re going to hike the PCT. Then I guess we’ll move to NZ. We’ll see what’s after that!! 🪿🪿 #sillygoosers #pacificcresttrail #pctclassof2025 taken in Pacific Crest Trail by @2sillygoosers

We started the PCT on March 24th, then entered the Sierra on May 11th. It was cold and unforgiving. But it was still one of the best experiences of our lives #pct #sillygoosers #thruhike #pacificcresttrail taken in Sierra Nevada Mountains by @2sillygoosers

Our trip to Waiotapu was incredible! This was one of the weirdest things to see there. A fully neon green pool of water. The devils bath #sillygoosers #newzealand #waiotapu #devilsbath taken in Wai-o-tapu Thermal Wonderland by @2sillygoosers
