2026 DNA LEGACY SHOWCASE RECAP 🧬🥵‼️ (FOURTH MEET)

595kg/1312lb @ 89.9kg/198.2lb, 7/9 for a 32.5kg Meet PR after the shakiest prep of my life, while competing in the 90+ degree heat 😭

Squat: a third squat was not in the plan.
195 / 430
207.5 / 457 ✅ (+2.5kg/5lb Meet PR, -2.5kg ATPR)
Scratched third ❌

Bench: let myself down a bit. Lat cramp on the third. Heat exhaustion is no joke.
117.5 / 259 (Meet PR match)
122.5 / 270 ✅ (+5kg/11lb Meet PR, -5kg ATPR)
127.5 / 281 ❌

Deadlift: hadn’t pulled >530 for over 8 weeks and failed 441 just 6 days prior to competing.
240 / 530 (Meet PR match)
257.5 / 568 ✅(+17.5kg/38lb Meet PR )
265 / 584 ✅ (+25kg/54lb Meet PR + 5kg/11lb ATPR ‼️‼️)

This was the most psychologically demanding prep I have ever been through. Thank you @sophia_martin.p for keeping me grounded through this. Dealt with sciatica, disc bulge, rotator cuff tear, and recovering meniscus tear, no proper peak on squats or especially deadlifts, and PRs on both!

So the numbers are one thing, but I walk away from this meet with something much bigger than a total. To deal with uncertainty, to compete at my home gym @dnastrengthga , training alongside and competing with the strongest peers and lifters I’ve ever known, to look into the crowd and be cheered on by my friends, family, and loved ones, this is a privilege, an honor, and a blessing that I simply can’t describe.

Days like this make me grateful, hopeful, and optimistic for just how good life can get in the present and in the future. 15 year old me has no idea just how good this shit can get.

Thank you to @swolechong for seeing me through this prep. However shaky prep was due to repeated injuries and inconsistencies, the overall plan paid off in a satisfying meet day performance, and I am extremely grateful that you kept believing in me at times when I failed to believe in myself.

Thank you to @gabekatz for handling me and seeing me through the rehab process. It’s safe to say I would not be healthy enough to compete without you and Robbie’s aid, and I am deeply thankful for all that you’ve done to get me here.

600kg total, 600lb+ deadlift, and 400 dots still elude me. by @2srirajcha

TLDR: 1163lb/527.5kg @ 164.1lb/74.45kg 🫡 (380.23 DOTS +20 DOTS in 9 weeks!), 8 for 9, almost everything I could’ve asked for!!!

There’s more in the tank. I won’t be stopped.

This was pure redemption for Holiday Havoc. I promised myself I’d never feel that bitter again while lifting, and made sure to execute on it.

Despite the injured knee and rotator cuff, and a self administered water cut 💀, we still pulled through on this meet and set PRs across the board.

Thank you @kashyap_dadhaniya for the excellent handling this meet. One year ago you brought me to watch you at States and started my powerlifting story, it’s only fitting we took the W this time around.

Thank you @thesquatemalan for the competition this meet. This was my first time competing alongside a teammate and it was a whole lot of fun. XOTWOD.

Thank you to my friends for supporting me and cheering me on. From the crowd or from a thousand miles away, it means the world to me that you all were able to make it. I held you in my heart during every attempt.

Finally, thank you to @gtbarbell for the opportunity to compete. You all are a wonderful bunch and I’m gonna miss you after this semester :’)

Just how far can I take this if I get a coach..?

I’ll have my 400 DOTS next time around. Til then 🫡 by @2srirajcha

The horizon exists to be reached.

Coming off an injury that caused me pain simply putting any force through my right leg, here we are. The numbers don’t make sense anymore.

Not even close to filling out the -93 yet 😗

Are we back or are we back??????

Lots of emotion behind these past few weeks. Pulling 500 for 5 feels like a significant milestone, this is something that I never believed was even possible especially after the meniscus tear and L5 flare.

The healing is going well and we will start our push to the next meet soon! :))

Folks close to me have encouraged me to write more, so here is an abstract piece of my mind from the past few weeks:

This life is a fragile violence
So find yourself some peace
You don’t pick your pages
But you are the author
Even if it’s out of your control
And maybe everything is changing
The seasons come and go
So does your skin, your hair, the beautiful glow of your eyes
The sun goes down and it’s dark outside
So be the moon in the night sky
Alone, but burning brighter than the stars
Like traces of a moonlit shadow
Etching your air into the earth
Walk through the night and find your paradise
And it’s getting warm outside
An orange glow covers the horizon
Say what you feel, become yours truly
So finish that paragraph, chapter, book
Because this life is yours to tell
A fragile violence written by us all
And although I can’t promise you much,
You’ll be fine, and we’ll be alright. by @2srirajcha

2025 Lifting Recap: A Love Letter to Learning ❤️‍🔥

TLDR moving up a weight class was the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. Year one of powerlifting complete!

This has been far and away the best (and most difficult) year I’ve been alive! PRs on everything, everywhere. Graduated, saw more of the world, met amazing people. Although I am the strongest I’ve ever been, both mentally and physically, the biggest lesson here wasn’t strength. It was identity.

I’ve had a tough time putting this into words, but read on if you’d like a piece of my mind:

Training at DNA strength explicitly showed me that the people you surround yourself with will directly affect your ambition and goal setting. Everyone I train alongside is strong as all hell and simply being around this crowd forces me to up my game regardless of how good or bad I’m feeling on that day. It’s a positive feedback loop that pushes me beyond what I think I am capable of. Watch me, every day I get closer to going toe to toe against my peers, let’s have some fun 🫱🏽‍🫲🏻!

The opposite is also true. Surrounding yourself with people who scoff at your progress or roll their eyes at your ambition pulls you to stay small. Get far away from those who you have to shrink yourself to be around, whether that be in career, relationships, or with any ambition.

Case in point: I was in a mental shithole after Regionals bc of the knee tear, and it’s still tough, but being around this fantastic community brought me to see the light in a pretty frustrating situation.

Anything you lose by being real was fake.

All of it is me. Every flaw, every strength, every contradiction. I still have to find myself, but this year certainly pushed me in the right direction. If you’ve made it this far, just know I appreciate you more than I can put into words.

The target: 485/220 squat, 315/143 bench, 661/300 deadlift. 1455/660 total. 83 or 93. I’ll be back!

All love, always :) by @2srirajcha

Deadlift merchant

The humor in the video emerges from a deliberate juxtaposition of identical physical stimuli (441 lbs) under contrasting affective framings: the deadlift is presented with a dreamy visual filter and an upbeat children’s song, signaling ease and playfulness, while the squat is accompanied by Rammstein’s “Sonne” and a dark, brooding filter, signaling intensity and existential struggle. This sharp divergence between audiovisual tone and identical load creates an incongruity that the viewer’s cognitive system resolves as comedic—essentially, the same numerical weight is mapped onto two radically different emotional narratives, and the contrast itself functions as the joke.

Job’s not finished!

Despite this block being one of the toughest blocks both mentally and especially physically, we came out on top with milestone PRs on bench and deadlift under unfavorable conditions.

We repping 4 plates now? 🥹🥹🥹🥹

Feeling extremely grateful to have the opportunity to do this on my birthday :)) If someone could tag the spotters I would greatly appreciate it!

8/14 - 8th week of this program, on the 14th day of the 8th month of the year, we hit a 14lb PR!

This past year has been the most fruitful period of growth in my entire life. A physical, mental, and emotional rollercoaster. I can’t even begin to put into words how grateful I am for my friends, family, and environment. What a privilege this is. Thank you for the highs, thank you for the lows, thank you for it all.

We’re at the peak, and it’s only up from here 😁😁😁 by @2srirajcha
