LSU — I can finally say I will officially be graduating with my Bachelor’s in Sports Administration from Louisiana State University!

This journey wasn’t easy — it tested my patience, my faith, and my strength — but by the grace of God, I made it through.

First and foremost, I thank the Lord for guiding me every step of the way, even when I couldn’t see the path.

And I thank Him for blessing me with a praying mother — for her sacrifices, belief, support, and for never letting me give up, even when I wanted to.
Every prayer, every word of encouragement, every late night — it all brought me here.

My Mom and Sister, this degree is not just mine — it’s ours!
I’m proud and honored to be the first in my family to graduate!

I beat the statistics of a Black man raised in a single-mother household.
I’ve grown into the man I was called to be.

As a man, it’s not your fault — but it is your responsibility.
I chose to take that responsibility head-on.

To my friends, professors, mentors, board of directors, and everyone who stood by me — THANK YOU.

I’m forever grateful. Forever blessed. Forever LSU!

Thank you!

I found my light – not in the cheers, but in the silence. Not just in the wins, but in the grind and the climb. They said the odds were stacked against me, but I broke through – not for the applause, but for my calling.

I learned that playing small serves no one, that my life is a living prayer.

My walk with the Lord – the truest flex. Every step a testament, every breath a psalm. I shine not for myself, but for the millions of sons.

For in this suit of grey, this armor of dreams – with this degree, I am more than a graduate. I am a breaker of generational cycles and a builder of legacies.

"It's easy to dream but it's hard to aspire to become something that you never seen someone that's looks like you in"
