I’ve been sitting on these for a minute because I couldn’t find the words to express how I’ve truly felt in all of them. This past year kinda just took me somewhere I wasn’t expecting. I’ve been just slowly getting pulled deeper into this scene without really planning it.

This whole transitionary period into the EDM scene has been a really healing and life changing experience. I have been able to really reconnect with my inner child and heal parts of me that I never knew needed healing. I’ve became more open minded, more loving, more accepting, more nurturing, and more proactive in my relationships and society as a whole. I truly attribute this to the open arms that have embraced me in this scene in the short time I’ve been in it and I am forever grateful. I could say so much but I’d rather yall meet and talk to me in person to hear more on that. ❤️

Moving forward - two weeks before the Bassment show I was stressed BADDD. I had been running all logistics in regard to ticketing, promotion, design and marketing items, artist management, and I honestly was being quite a few homies therapist (no shame.) The icing on the cake was that I still hadn’t quite ironed out how we could have live audio-reactive visuals but I knew it was a must if we wanted a good show. I discovered VJing and found out we did not have the time nor budget to find someone capable of the level we know we can do for everybody so I crash-coursed myself into VJ’ing. Like full send. No sleep, a lot of trial and error. And somewhere in that chaos I realized I actually loved it which is dope.

The show we just did felt different. Not because it was perfect, but because it was something we actually built instead of just showing up to. Seeing the visuals, the music, the people, our crew… it all kinda clicked for me in a way I wasn’t ready for. I’m still learning and figuring things out, but this is the most aligned I’ve felt in a long time. I would feel really stupid to step away and not feed this at all.

If you’ve been around or played a part in getting me to this point, thank you for helping change my life. If you’re just now seeing this, hopefully you stick for the journey :) by @301saint

On JAN 17TH, we’re bringing a full BASS + LASER show to Southern Maryland for the first time EVER.
