Superheroes come in many shapes and sizes. Some come from different galaxies. Helene Nomsa Brath was a proud Harlemite that used her powers to change bias laws as she championed for the rights of children in Harlem.

This mural on 112th St, is an educational tool to teach students of PS185 - The Locke School for Arts and Engineering and the community about how one woman forced an entire school system to remove asbestos from classrooms. Known as “Mother Love”, she also rallied around five young men WRONGFULLY accused of a heinous crime and played a roll in their exoneration.

Thank you Cinque and the Brath family, SCAN Harbor, PS 185 and the beautiful people of MLK Towers for the allowing to use my artistic gifts reimagine Helene Nomsa Brath as a HARLEM HERO!

HAPPINESS IS

…being invited to a concert at @littlechurch.yo last night

…listening to the liberating lyrics of @mayaazucena

…witnessing the power of sisterhood as @walkerkatori bonded with Maya after the concert

Little Church is a phenomenal state of the art production studio right here in Yonkers. They are the new neighbor of @yonkersarts located at the @cmad.yo and they are NOT a tattoo shop! Contact them for all your video, photography and production needs.

Oh yeah, follow Maya! You have to hear the power of her lyrics and vocal abilities.
