Fear can well be your reason for not doing something but it’s not a valid excuse.

I hate showing work and I make excuses like I’m avoidant (like being avoidant is a good thing :/?), i’ll do it later
- truth is i’m just hiding.
fear of critique, people judging, the visibility, etc, just becomes too much.

A lot of people make my ~ fragile ego ache when i see the slightest criticism, but a fragile ego doesn’t pay rent.

What you don’t want to be is not being honest, especially to yourself.
