What a night! Last week, we proudly welcomed the return of Taste of Aurora for the first time since 2019, bringing our community together to celebrate the incredible flavors, cultures, and connections that make Aurora so vibrant.

A special thank you to our food vendors, sponsors, and volunteers whose contributions made this long-awaited comeback possible. And thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such a success. Until next time! 💙 by @3456tea

This year’s National APIAHiP: Asian & Pacific Islander Americans in Historic Preservation APIAHiP Forum schedule of events is filled with AANHPI business tours, community conversations, and cultural site visits across our Special District and Korea Town Aurora

On 9/10 from 4:00–5:15 PM, join a special conference session featuring Sean Choi, founder of 3456tea and current Chair of @KoreaTownAurora, and father and son, Chang & Ryan Siwon, Lee. Chang Lee and Yumi Ogai are the family behind the success of Birchtree Plaza and Katsu Ramen. 🧋🍜 Ryan Siwon and Chang Lee will be talking about their Korea Town perspective: Chang, as a first-generation immigrant, and Ryan Siwon as a second-generation Korean Japanese American.

Thank you to community advocates like these four who shaped our Global District and Korea Town Aurora into a destination, building and strengthening community one bowl of ramen and one cup of tea at a time.

Their stories are a part of a larger conversation on how Korea Town Aurora became Aurora’s newest recognized cultural heritage site. 🌏🥳

Don’t worry if you’re craving Korean drinks or delicious ramen at the same time; @3456Tea and @Katsuramen_co will be open during the Forum. Stop by and show your support! 🎉
